Kittens, Through the Years
"Be My Baby"

In the Land of Birmans each year is associated with a letter of the alphabet. Kittens born in 2000 have names beginning with the letter "X", 2001 was a "Y" year and 2002 is "Z". 2003 will be an "A" year. As you scroll through our pages you will be able to age the cats simply by looking at their names and determining the corresponding year.
For instance, Waylon and Willow were born in 1999.

This tradition is followed by most Birman breeders in the United States. Not only does it help us to age our cats, but it is fun to come up with all those creative
(and frequently "mispelled") names.

Zoie and Zephyr now live in Raytown, MO
with their parents, Steve and Becky

Xianna with her son - Yetti,
who now resides with his Mom, Ellie, in Chicago, IL

Yuri 's name was changed to Yani and he now lives in
Lincoln, NE, with his Mom, Debra.

Yorkie and Yankee,
who now live with Joe and Jayelynn, in Olathe, KS
